About Samantha sherman
Originally from St. Louis, Samantha moved to NYC to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she received a BFA in acting.
Currently, Samantha can be seen in the film ADAM – premiering at Sundance 2019. Previous film credits include THE MEND, HERMAN & SHELLEY, and MONOGAMY. This fall she was invited to be in the acting company of LCT Directors Lab where she worked with directors from all over the globe and performed in Ibsen’s LITTLE EYOLF and Mary Zimmerman’s THE ODYSSEY. Other theater work includes GOODBYE NY, GOODBYE HEART, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, and various workshops/ readings.
Samantha is also a passionate activist. As a lead on NARAL Pro-Choice America’s Action Council and Co-President of Women to the Front, Samantha fights for civil rights, intersectional feminism, and, hopefully, a better world.
