About Haleigh Ciel
After traveling the entire USA as a military brat, Haleigh Ciel followed her yellow brick road to New York City and NYU: Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU, she studied the Art of Acting at Stella Adler Studio, Shakespeare at The Royal Academy Dramatic Art in London, dance at DUOC Universidad de Chile, and explored Chinese arts in Beijing and Shanghai. She graduated from NYU with honors, a hunger to experience the world, and a strong foundation in the performing arts.
Since then, she has appeared as the lead in various independent films, music videos, and commercials. She has also gained extensive improv experience at Upright Citizens Brigade and has created characters for several TV shows and immersive theatrical performances including Playing with Fire directed by John Gould Rubin and Marat Sade at Theater 54. She also originated the role of Billie Burke for Speakeasy Dollhouse’s production of Ziegfeld's Midnight Frolic and was noted for her performance in the New York Times and TheaterMania. In her most recent immersive performance in The Bloody Beginning was praised on Broadway World.
You can currently catch her as the "Blonde In The Front Row" in the pilot/first episode of the Critic's Choice & Golden Globe award-winning Amazon original series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She will also be appearing in the upcoming HBO series Random Acts Of Flyness.
When she is not on stage or in front of the camera, Haleigh continues her love affair with storytelling as a self-taught filmmaker & editor. She spent a month in Taipei as a guest host and content creator for TLC Discovery's travel show, Fun Taiwan. Just recently, she hosted and filmed 2017 New York Comic Con as well as the Largest Dog Costume Parade in the World for the Essential Phone. Furthermore, she has a passion for capturing fantasy costume and vintage culture you can discover on her youtube channel.
