Diane Ciesla, a native of Chicago, began her career there appearing in productions at the Goodman Theatre, Illinois Theater Center, Chicago Shakespeare in the Park, Marriott Theatre and Pheasant Run.
Recent work includes Hulu’s "The Path", the TBS series "Search Party" (with Alia Shawkat; directed by Charles Rogers and Sarah-Violet Bliss) and Fits And Starts (with Wyatt Cenac & Greta Lee; directed by Laura Terruso).
Other Film /TV credits include: 5 Flights Up (with Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton), Another Earth, Inside You, Off Track Betty, The Foxy Merkins (2014 Sundance Finalist), Under New Management, “Difficult People”, “Royal Pains”, “Lipstick Jungle”, “Law & Order”, “All My Children” and “Guiding Light”.
Diane collaborated in the development of new American and foreign plays at Soho Rep, Clubbed Thumb, New Georges, Abingdon, Cherry Lane Theatre, Culture Project, Bushwick Starr, Queens Theatre, Scandinavia House, Billie Holiday Theatre, The Lark, Target Margin, La MaMa, New Dramatists and Cape Cod Theatre Project. She had the opportunity of working with such artists as: Sarah Benson, Michael Bigelow Dixon, Dana Lynn Formby, Mona Mansour, Johanna McKeon, Julie Marie Myatt, Jamie Pachino, Will Pomerantz, Lanie Robertson and Sarah Cameron Sunde.
