About Neil D'Astolfo
Neil D’Astolfo is an actor from Long Island, New York, whose last name is pronounced with blatant disregard for its apostrophe (duh-STAHL-fo). His first professional acting experience came at Age 10, when he made his "Law & Order" debut as the son of a woman walking down the street.
A former collegiate rower, Neil earned a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College He received an MFA in Acting from Columbia University’s School of the Arts, where he studied under Anne Bogart, Kristin Linklater, Andrei Serban and Dianne Wiest, among others, and was awarded the Felicia Montealegre Scholarship.
Since graduating, Neil has worked on new and old plays at Cherry Lane, Classic Stage Company, New York Theatre Workshop, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Soho Rep, Theatre for the New City, and Women’s Project Theatre. He can be seen on the second season of Hulu's The Path and as series regular Clark Nugent on Understudies, an original comedy web series.
Additionally, Neil has voiced campaigns and commercials for ExxonMobil, Ford, and Kleenex, among many others, and has recently turned to writing: his first full-length play, Shameless, recently had its first staged reading at Atlantic Stage 2 as part of PTP's After Dark Series.
