About Marcel Simoneau

From Québec, Canada, Marcel plays the lead role in the feature film Foreigners. Other film credits include: Sarah Is Not Her Name (Cannes Film Festival 2016), Universal Language, Zenith, Stranger, The Rebound, Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Kinsey, Thru, Trapped Girl. TV credits include: Gotham, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Fringe, Law & Order, Ed, Great Performances and Strangers with Candy. Marcel has appeared in numerous Off and Off-Off Broadway plays, My First Time, Modigliani, Pvt. Wars and others. He also does Voice-Over work in English, French and Spanish. Marcel also recently completed directing his second film Le Village is now playing in festivals. His film Two People He Never Saw, which he co-directed and co-produced with Kevin Corrigan, also played and won a few festivals. He has studied at with Maggie Flanigan, at NYU & Columbia University and the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
