About Kelly McCrann
Kelly McCrann was recently seen in The Convent of Pleasure (a part of the Cherry Lane Mentor Project) by Sarah Einspanier, mentored by Sheila Callaghan and directed by Portia Krieger. Also recently, Kelly was a part of Ride On Theatre's The Blind Date Project at PS122's COIL Festival as well as two Baltimore Center Stage productions: Amy Herzog's After The Revolution (directed by Lila Neugebauer) and the World Premiere production of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
Kelly has been a guest star on the critically-acclaimed "Louie" opposite writer/director/actor Louis CK and can currently be seen in The Comedian opposite Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito, Patti LuPone and Lucy DeVito (directed by Taylor Hackford) as well as season 2 of "The Path" on Hulu. Also, look for her in the upcoming indie feature "Accommodations" as Sloane. Some of her favorite performances are Iocasta (Phoenician Women with Karin Coonrod), Viola (Twelfth Night with Tony Speciale and Classic Stage Company) and Woodstock Arts Festival.
Kelly is a North Carolina native who had always longed to be a New Yorker. Her early experiences in regional and mystery dinner theatre on rail cars brought her to the city of bright lights. She holds a BA in English and Drama, with a minor in Women's Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill (Andy Griffith Scholarship) and an MFA in Acting from Columbia University (Shubert Scholarship).
