Jeena Yi

JEENA YI stars in Liz Sargent's new short film, Take Me Home (Official selection at Sundance Film Festival 2023; SXSW, Santa Barbara Film Festival).

Opposite Jodie Foster and Annette Benning, in Nyad, a feature film directed by Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, based on the life of swimmer, Diane Nyad, (currently in post-production).

Jeena’s TV work includes her recurring role on The Resident (FOX). Modern Love (Amazon) Only Murders in the Building(Hulu) and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix).

She made her Broadway debut in Network, starring Bryan Cranston, directed by Ivo Van Hove. Off Broadway, Jeena starred in the world premiere of Good Enemy at The Audible Theater (NYC). Today is My Birthday @ Yale Repertory Theater, written by Susan Soon He Stanton. Walden, by Amy Berryman at Hartford Theaterworks, Judgement Day at The Park Avenue Armory, and Somebody’s Daughter at Second Stage in NYC.

Jeena holds an MFA from Columbia University.
