About Jeanine Bruen
Jeanine Bruen is an actress and singer hailing from Staten Island, New York. Even at the age of two, Jeanine's calling was clear. Her parents bought her the classic 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz on a VHS tape. Every day for a month, little Jeanine played the tape on repeat and sang along to every number (in full Dorothy costume, of course). The rest is history.
Jeanine is a graduate of Wagner College as an honor student with a B.A. in Theatre Performance. She has performed both at Wagner and locally, favorite past credits including Merrily We Roll Along, 21 Chump Street and The Most Happy Fella. Jeanine recently made her solo cabaret debut at 54 Below in 54 Sings Sonny and Cher and Broadway Jukebox. She also debuted at Town Hall in Broadway Rising Stars 2016. Recent credits include the world-premiere of Pamela’s First Musical at Two River Theater (dir. Graciela Daniele) and a concert presentation of the new show Vox Lumiere's Phantom Of The Opera playing the lead role of "Christine".
When she's not onstage, you might catch Jeanine writing poetry, reading, baking, running, or practicing yoga. A passionate soul, Jeanine's ultimate goal is to impact lives through her work, both onstage and off. Check out www.jeaninebruen.com for updates and announcements.
