About Hayley Podschun
Hayley Podschun, originally from Kansas, has been performing professionally since the age of 10. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 12 in The Sound of Music.
During her “college years”, Hayley was seen touring the country with the Tony winning musical Hairspray where she played Penny, Tammy and understudied Amber VonTussle. She then immediately relocated to Toronto to film the “Hairspray” movie (playing Tammy) then finally planted her roots in NYC to join the Broadway company of Hairspray, where she played Tammy once again. Following her time in the 60’s, Hayley went on to be involved in the Broadway productions of Chaplin, Something Rotten, and Roundabout’s productions of Anything Goes, Pal Joey, Sunday In The Park With George.
From 2013-2014 she traveled by bubble in the world wide musical phenomenon Wicked, starring at Glinda. She earned reviews such as “Captivating Glinda”, “…is a giant bubble of warmth with the voice of an angel and comedic brilliance that leaves an indelible imprint. She could easily walk off with the entire show…"
Currently on her 8th Broadway show, Hayley is dancing alongside the Divine Miss Bette Midler in the highly anticipated revival of Hello, Dolly! at The Shubert Theatre.
