About Annalisa Plumb
Annalisa Plumb is a New York City native and recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. She has trained at acting schools around New York including The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, The Barrow Street School, HB Studios, and Upright Citizens Brigade and Kimball Studios. She is currently a student at the William Esper studio studying under Suzanne Esper. While at Sarah Lawrence some of her classes included Alexander Technique with June Ekman, audition technique with David Caparelliotis, and scene study with her teacher and friend Erica Newhouse. Annalisa performed in both departmental and student-produced plays, and particularly enjoyed working with emerging playwrights. During her time at school Annalisa also studied psychology and journalism. An especially powerful year-long class allowed her to study alongside inmates at a maximum-security women's prison. As she pursues her acting career, Annalisa also hopes to explore ways of bringing the arts to the prison population in the U.S.
